Dr Marcus Johns
Dr. Marcus Johns trained in medicine at Charing Cross Hospital
and then in psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital. He went into Child and
Family Psychiatry at the Tavistock Clinic and became Director of the Child
Guidance Training Centre within the Tavistock building.
He was consultant
there in charge of the Day Unit for Disturbed Children. During this time he
trained as a psychoanalyst and became Acting Director of the London Clinic
of Psychoanalysis.
He now works privately as a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. He is
registered with the GMC and the British Psychoanalytic Council.
